Bhubaneswar: Hundreds of Congress and BJD leaders in Bhubaneswar have joined the BJP in the presence of President Shri Sameer Mohanty and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, inspired by the policies of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadji. Manas Patnaik, Arjun Mallick, Mamata Mallick, Rajendra Prasad Tiwari of Laxmisagar area, Pabitra Kumar Jena, youth leader of Rasulgarh, Vikram Baliarsingh, Dr. Chintamaniswar of Laxmisagar area, Bhubaneswar. P.C. Senior citizens, including hundreds of youth leaders and intellectuals of the BJD and Congress, including Sahu, Parshuram Jena, Sucharita Jenamani, Itishree Sahu, Sahajan Khan, Priyanka Chhotraya, and others from the Buddhist areas, have joined the BJP.
The state president, Mohanty, has formally included all the new members in party uniforms and hats. Mr. Mohanty welcomed all the new members and thanked them. Mr Mohanty said the merger would strengthen the team. On the other hand, the newly-joined leaders said that they had joined the BJP with the aim of building a new Odisha by joining the BJP's development trend. All the constituency presidents of Bhubaneswar district are present on the occasion. He welcomed the new members. State General Secretary Golak Mohapatra, Bhubaneswar District President Babu Singh, Jagannath Pradhan and Harekrishna Khutia were present on the occasion.
