Bhubaneswar, East Coast Railway has observed the 65th Annual Award Giving ceremony at Railkunj, Bhubaneswar, today. Shri Vidya Bhushan, General Manager, East Coast Railway was the Chief Guest in the occasion. Shri Sudhir Kumar, Addl. General Manager and Shri Debaraj Panda, Managing Director, Haridaspur Paradeep Rail Line Corporation Limited graced the occasion.
Addressing Railwaymen & their family members, General Manager complimented the Railwaymen for the determination and devotion to their duties with a progressive attitude and for their valuable contribution. Due to the consistent efforts of employees, East Coast Railway bagged most prestigious Govind Ballabh Pant National Railway Award for overall efficiency along with Accounts & Finance Management Shield, Traffic Transportation Shield and Sales Management Shield for the year 2019-20. General Manager also appealed the Railwaymen to continue their efforts to make ECoR the best zone in Indian Railways.
Merit awards and Shields were handed over to various officers & staff for outstanding performance. Khurda Road Division received the Overall Efficiency Shield for overall performance in different fields. Visakhapatnam Station received the Best major Clean Station Shield and Kendujhargarh Station received the Best minor Clean Station Shield. Various group awards and individual awards were handed over to various departments.
