New Delhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday took part in a special function of the ‘Kala Bharat Self-Help Campaign’ organized by the Khadi Hamara Mantra Foundation in New Delhi to take the campaign to the capitals of all the states of the country. Speaking in detail on India's rich culture and creative arts and its potential for the world market, Mr. Pradhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a vocal for local campaign to promote local products.
In this context, the art of self-reliance can be extended to all the states and capitals of the country, and people will be interested in local arts and crafts. Mr Pradhan said the move would boost tourism and reflect India's rich history and cultural identity.
The Khadi Hamara Foundation is working towards making India's self-reliant India a success. The foundation is also helping to bring the country's artisans and their talents to the global market. Union Culture and Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, Union Roads and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pand were present on the occasion.
