L&T 3D Prints Entire 2-Floor Building In India

Chennai: L&T Construction, the construction arm of the $21 billion Larsen & Toubro, on Thursday announced it has successfully 3D-printed a 700 sq feet building (ground plus first floor) with reinforcement for the first time in India.

Using a fully automated 3D printer, L&T 3D printed the building at their Kanchipuram facility with a special, in-house developed concrete mix, using indigenously available regular construction materials. The building was printed with both vertical reinforcement bar and horizontal distributors using welded mesh that satisfy provisions in the Indian Codes and optimise the cost of construction.

The company said that except for the horizontal slab members, the entire building structure was 3D printed ‘Cast in Situ’ at the job site in an ‘open to sky’ environment within 106 printing hours.

“3D concrete printing is one of the technology disruptors with the potential to radically redefine construction methodologies and I am extremely happy that by demonstrating our growing expertise in 3D printing, we are well positioned to push the boundaries of automated robotic construction,” said M.V. Satish, Whole Time Director & Senior Executive Vice President (Buildings).

“3D printing will not only accelerate the pace of construction but also significantly improve build quality.” The feat is important as the country is aggressively pursuing the objective of creating 60 million houses under the ‘Housing for All by 2022’ programme, the company said.

3D printing is a process, in which the material is printed under computer control to build a 3-dimensional product, typically layer by layer.

It is predominantly used in manufacturing industries to print rapid prototypes, complex shapes and small batch production using special polymers and metal alloys etc. In November 2019, the L&T team had 3D-printed a 240 sq feet 1 BHK.

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's 125th birth anniversary to be celebrated with national and state dignity

Bhubaneswar, Anirban Deepshikha of the Indian Freedom Struggle, a symbol of brilliant personality, a symbol of sacrifice and sacrifice, a hero of great courage and might, the pride and glory of the Oriya nation, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's 125th birthday The Odisha State Committee of the Samajwadi Party has demanded the formation of an independent committee with due diligence to commemorate Netaji's 125th birth anniversary at the national and state levels in commemoration of his sacrifice and contribution to India's freedom struggle.

Ravi Behera, the party's state president, today wrote a letter to Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik demanding the formation of a national committee by sending a copy of the letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the letter, he pointed out that a film based on Netaji Subhash Bose's glorious story of the Azad Hind Fauj, which is being produced in various national and state languages, needs to be taken to see how the current generation can become familiar with Netaji's contribution.

He said a park would be set up in Bhubaneswar to showcase Netaji's personality, which was nurtured in Odisha, and to show a detailed picture of Netaji's role in the struggle for independence through light and sound. BJD's women's empowerment speech is like a crocodile's cry - Women's Congress

Bhubaneswar, BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said that the 33 per cent reservation for women on the BJD's founding day was politically motivated and crocodile-like. At a press conference held at the Congress building here today, Congress leader Sritirekha Pahi was directly involved in the BJP's politics with women and did not care about women, if not for the presence of women in the home department under Khod's chief minister.

While the Chief Minister is talking about 33 per cent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and the Legislative Assembly, the fact that women do not employ more than 10 per cent in their respective departments, the difference between words and deeds is obvious. Similarly, women commandos have not been appointed in the Odisha Battalion. If we compare Odisha with other states, we will see a 20 per cent difference in the state. The Congress is the only party in the state that has appointed women as chief ministers and prime ministers.

"In the Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, women are being given more importance," she said. Let the BJP clarify what percentage of women are employed in the state in terms of employment. The general public and women in the state are outraged by the abuse of women, child abuse and abuse. To divert attention, the Biju Janata Dal (BJP) said the 33 per cent reservation message to women was a crocodile's cry.

Rashmi Mohapatra, former Bhubaneswar district Congress executive president, said the BJP was now crying crocodiles for women. After 21 years of rule, the BJP and the BJP have been in power for four years. At the time, Ms. Mohapatra questioned what had been done in the state for women. At first, the worshipers of that time focused on the protection of women. Today, the BJP government's help desk for women and children is inactive. Ms. Mohapatra also said that the Pink Auto Service for Women, the women's helpline app available on Google, was also a failure.

Implementing an electoral system in a country can reduce the cost of elections in the country

Bhubaneswar, The implementation of the "One Nation One Election" system in the country will not reduce the amount of development work that was hampered by the implementation of the Election Model Code, and will save human resources, energy, time and financial resources. The system will reduce the cost of elections and accelerate development in the country. This will also reduce the burden on the administrative system. BJP national spokesperson and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sadangi said the GDP loss could be prevented to some extent if implemented.

"The election model that was in place in our country from 1951 to 52 was held at the same time as the general election and the assembly elections," she said at a press conference at the state office. The issue's end has the recaptured Doomsday in the control of the President again and again. In 1933, the Election Commission argued for a single election. In the 17th, the National Commission for Elections and Judiciary, Chairman of the National Commission for Legislation, discussed the "One Nation, One Election" proposal.

This was not acceptable due to the lack of political will. In 2015, the parliamentary standing committee, led by the Parliamentary Standing Committee, submitted a report calling for joint elections. The Policy Commission then issued a reference to the 2014 by-elections. The proposal was submitted in August 2017 in support of the "One Nation One Election" led by Justice BS Chauhan of the 21st Legislative Commission on the proposal in the 2014 and 2024 elections.

"Currently, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed interest in holding a single election and has taken steps to discuss it," she said. Prior to the press conference, a webinar titled "One Nation, One Election" was held.

The issue's end has the recaptured Doomsday in the control of the KGB. The function, chaired by Mrs. Sadangi, was attended by state president Sameer Mohanty in Bhubaneswar, opposition leader Pradeep Nayak, BJP general secretary organization Manas Mohanty and BJP national vice-president and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Binay Sahasrabuddha and BJP national spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra was present. Opposition leader Pradeep Nayak, state spokesperson Thakur Ranjit Das and Umakant Patnaik were present at the press conference.

BJP to continue fighting till Odisha's last eligible beneficiary gets house : Prithviraj Harichandan

Bhubaneswar, the state government has been misleading the people of Odisha by writing PROs on the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme plaque and sticking Biju Babka's big photo with Biju Babu's photo below. Not only that, the Chief Minister himself took all the credit by handing over a letter to the beneficiaries that the house had fulfilled Biju Babu’s dream. The state government has issued new stickers after a statewide blockade and anti-government rallies under Section 420 of the CRPC in various police stations.

That fact must be taken into account. " However, BJP state general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan said it was "unfortunate" that the state government had taken such a decision without comment. The law stipulates that no logo or nomenclature cluster can be changed in any national flagship program. Despite this, the state government created a bad tradition. The state government is in a dilemma with two names on one sticker. This is not acceptable at all.

The houses of the central government scheme should be named under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme and the houses subsidized by the state government under the Biju Pakkaghar scheme. The false letter from the Chief Minister to the beneficiaries does not contain the name of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme. "It simply came to our notice then. It is a complete lie that the state government has promised to provide housing to fulfill Bijubabu's dream. Mr. Harichandan demanded that the Chief Minister immediately withdraw the deceptive letter.

As soon as the application forms are filed in the block in February, the state government should immediately collect the names of the eligible beneficiaries on the housing portal. The government has repeatedly reversed its decision, damaging the treasury. More than Rs 10 crore has been spent on stickers made by the state government with the big logo of Biju Pakka Ghar. Mr. Harichandan demanded that the state government clarify from whom the Rs 10 crore that has been spent unnecessarily from the state exchequer will be reimbursed.

The Prime Minister has promised to provide permanent housing to every eligible beneficiary in Odisha by 2022. Accordingly, the state government should refrain from self-promotion and work to ensure that eligible beneficiaries get a permanent home. Mr Harichandan warned that the BJP would continue its agitation to get permanent housing for Odisha's last eligible beneficiaries.

Cabinet approves revised plan to increase ethanol production capacity in the country

New Delhi;
For the benefit of sugarcane farmers, the government has more than doubled the production capacity of molasses-based distilleries; Of these distilleries, 426 crore liters of ethanol are currently produced annually. Sugarcane farmers have been reaping the benefits for the past six years, with more sugar than needed in the country since the 2010-11 sugar season. Drought alone declined in 2016-17. Now that sugarcane is being cultivated in different parts of the country, sugar production will increase even more in the coming days.

During the period from October to September, the country produces 320 lakh metric tonnes of sugar. India's annual sugar demand is about 260 lakh metric tonnes. So the remaining 6 million metric tons left in the normal sugar season is putting pressure on the domestic sugar mills. The price of sugar is also declining as there is leftover sugar in the market. These 60 lakh metric tonnes of additional sugar cannot be sold. So sugar mill owners are having a hard time paying farmers for their sugarcane.

The failure of mill owners to pay Rs 19,000 crore to sugarcane farmers has created a serious situation. As a result, both sugarcane owners and sugarcane farmers are facing financial pressure. This has a negative impact on the sugar economy and the economy as a whole. So sugar mill owners are exporting them to solve the remaining sugar problem. In this regard, the central government is providing financial assistance to the mills for the transportation of sugar. As India is also a developing country, the government can export the remaining sugar by 2023 with financial incentives as per the rules of the World Trade Organization.

India will no longer have this opportunity. Therefore, the emphasis is on ethanol production using additional sugar and sugarcane. If the remaining sugar is invested in a lucrative way, the price of sugar in the country will remain the same. As a result, there will be no problem with sugar storage or damage to farmers and mills. Good coordination between demand and supply can be maintained. If millers' sugar is sold on time, farmers will also be able to pay for sugarcane at the right time. As a result, the sugar industry will be relieved of stress and will function normally.

The government aims to add 10 percent of ethanol to petrol by 2022. Similarly, the ratio is targeted to increase by 15% by 2026 and by 2030 by 2030. In addition to supporting the sugar industry, the government has also allowed the production of ethanol from gum, dorua, paniagud and sugar to protect the interests of sugarcane farmers. The government has also set a lucrative selling price for these ethanol products. The government has also formulated a policy for the supply of ethanol. Ethanol support prices have been increased this season. The government has allowed various distilleries to use the remaining corn and rice in the FCI to produce better ethanol for better fuel quality.

Ethanol's profits have also been announced. The government plans to achieve this goal five years ahead of its goal of adding 20 percent ethanol to petrol by 2030. So now the country does not have enough ethanol efficiency to meet this goal. The government is working to improve this productivity. Ethanol is also being bought by various oil companies in the country from producers under government policy. It is not enough to produce more ethanol. Emphasis should be placed on the production of the ethanol that is required to be added to petrol. This is not possible from sugarcane alone.

This requires first generation or 1G ethanol. It can also be made from tubers, a variety of grains. With that in mind, sugarcane and tuber crops should be increased, along with rice, wheat, manure, various grains, and millet. The government has taken the following decisions.

(1) In order to increase the efficiency of ethanol production, the government has facilitated the provision of interest rebates to the following categories and classes. (A) Interest rates will be available on loans for the establishment of grain-based distilleries and the expansion of such breweries. So distilleries that produce ethanol in the dry milling process will only get this interest discount.

(B) This waiver facility will be available for the installation of new distilleries based on molasses or the expansion of old distilleries. Companies that produce ethanol can also benefit from it, as per the rules and regulations of the Central Board of Environmental Control. (C) Facilities will be provided for the installation or expansion of new dual-feed distilleries.

(D) This government benefit provision will also apply to the conversion of the current molasses-based distillery into a dual feed. Dual feed means the production of ethanol from both mules and grains. (E) Discounts will also be available for the installation of new distilleries using cumin, millet, sugar beet and other grains. Distillers who want to convert rectified spirits into ethanol using M7SDH4 will also benefit from the scheme.

(2) In this case, the government shall bear the cost of debt relief for up to 5 years. Similarly, borrowers have a 1-year suspension order; So that they do not have to repay the loan immediately. (3) Only those enterprises or organizations that produce 75 per cent ethanol using additional distillation facilities will be eligible for debt relief.

As a result of the government's encouragement, 1G ethanol production will increase in the country and the government will be able to complete ethanol mixing in petrol as per the target. It can also collect ethanol from its own source in the country; Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation. "It simply came to our notice then. It will also allow farmers to get their due on time.

The government aims to add 10 percent ethanol to motor fuels by 2022, increasing distillation capacity and achieving blending in six years. It aims to double by 2030. As of 2014, the country's ethanol distillation capacity was less than 200 million liters. However, in the last six years, the capacity of these distillations has doubled to 426 crore liters per annum. By 2024, the government has launched a joint effort to double the distillation capacity in the country.

In the 2013-14 ethanol supply year, less than 40 crore liters of ethanol were supplied to the country's oil marketing companies. The ethanol was mixed with petrol at a rate of 1.53 percent. However, with the help of the central government, the ethanol of the best fuels in the country has increased and its supply to the oil companies has increased fourfold in the last six years. During the 2018-19 supply year, 189 crore liters of ethanol were supplied and 5 per cent blended. In Maharashtra and Karnataka, however, ethanol production and collection declined in 2019-20 due to declining sugarcane production due to drought alone. In the same year, various distilleries supplied 172.50 crore liters of ethanol. Accordingly, 5 percent of the blending goals were achieved.

In the current 2020-21 ethanol supply year, 325 crore liters of ethanol from various distilleries will be supplied to oil companies. As a result, 8.5 percent ethanol blending in gasoline can be achieved. It is hoped that by 2022, we will be able to reduce this blending target by 10 percent. As the blending level rises, fossil fuels from abroad will be reduced and it will also reduce environmental pollution. As more and more investments are being made to increase the efficiency of distilleries and new distilleries are being set up, employment opportunities will be created in rural areas and this will help meet the goal of building a self-sufficient India.

Immediate approval of export proposals, including approval of exports of air missile systems

New Delhi; Under self-reliant India, India is increasing its capacity to build a variety of defense platforms and missiles. Congress has demanded the repeal of new agricultural policies and the introduction of new bills by the new government like Punjab and Kerala

Bhubaneswar; The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee has demanded that the government immediately repeal these black laws as the three new agricultural laws introduced by the Modi government are intensifying among the farmers across the country. The party also demanded that the new government immediately pass the bill in the state legislatures, such as Punjab and Kerala.

At a press conference held at the Congress building here today, senior party leader and former finance minister Sanjalan Kanunjo strongly criticized the anti-farmer mentality of the Modi government, saying it was a "big conspiracy" and "industrialist capitalism". He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer.

The Union Petroleum Minister's criticism of the worshipers on the basis of false information was ridiculous and called for an open debate instead of confusing the farmers of Odisha. "Before criticizing the BJP government, it was unfortunate that the BJP or BJP leaders did not take into account the rising production costs due to rising petrol and diesel prices, electricity prices, increased wages and inflation," he said.

In other words, subsidies for agriculture have been steadily declining since the Modi government came to power at the Center, and concessions to corporates and industrialists have been on the rise. Regrettably, food prices, especially pulses, oils and wheat, have risen sharply in the past four years. According to him, the minimum support price for all these agricultural products has been raised. As promised, the Modi government has not fulfilled any of the recommendations of the Swaminathan Committee in the last four years.

On the one hand, the Modi government, which has been chanting slogans to make the country self-reliant, is conspiring to undermine the country’s food self-sufficiency. He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this great task: "One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure ... there are going to be some difficult decisions for government". Kishan Congress president Amiya Kumar Patnaik, spokesperson Amiya Pandav, Manoranjan Das and Deepak Mohapatra, among others, were present at the press conference.
