Bhubaneswar, This afternoon, Minister for Electronics, Information Technology, Sports and Youth Services Shri Tusharkant Behera has accepted three schools as foster schools. Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik recently called on all dignitaries, including MPs, MLAs and senior government officials, to join the My School Campaign. Its main focus is to promote quality education in public schools and to streamline school education in collaboration with the public.
Today, Minister Behera has joined the government's efforts and has taken over Kodalpur Government Nodal High School in Puri district, Astaranga in Balidih Primary School and Kheira Government High School in Baleshwar district, where he is studying. Addressing a meeting at Government Nodal High School Kakatpur this afternoon, Minister Behera said the Chief Minister's call to strengthen the My School program would further strengthen the education system in the coming days.
After Minister Behera adopted the schools, there was a wave of happiness among local school students, educators and the general public. On the occasion, Minister Behera visited the Kakatpur Mini Stadium here and held discussions with the Sports Department and the local administration on the sports infrastructure and improvements here.
