Bhubaneswar, Puri, Minister Tusharkant Behera visited the Jahania tourism sector in Puri district and held detailed discussions with senior tourism officials and technical teams. Jahania is one of the major tourist attractions in the district, including Puri, Konark and Satpada.

Minister Behera has held talks with departmental officials and local authorities to make Jahania, a major tourist destination in the state and local area, a global tourist destination. "With the construction of guesthouses by the tourism department, the construction of star hotels will further enrich the livelihoods and economy of the locals," Behera said. During his visit today, Minister Behera discussed with senior officials of the Department of Sports and Youth Services and PA officials what steps can be taken to improve the sports infrastructure in the Kakatpur block.
