Youth Congress protests demanding repeal of National Reconstruction Act from Ekamra area

Bhubaneswar, today, led by Bhubaneswar District Youth Congress president Shri Ranjit Patra, staged a protest demanding the repeal of the National Land Reclamation Act from Ekamra area. A huge rally from the Congress building to the MasterCatin Square took place, blocking the road and protesting. The coffins of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, who implemented the Prakaran Bail, were cremated there. In this regard, Mr. Patra said that the National Appropriation Bill was withdrawn from the Puri Shrimandir. But for the Ekamra region, the government has a patriarchal attitude.

This is a huge blow for the Ekamra region. All these temples of Sri Lingaraj Temple, Anant Basudev Temple, Brahmeshwar Temple should be exempted from bail cuts. Restoration, repair and development work and beautification should be done around it. If this by-law is enforced, developmental work here will be hampered. Both the state and central governments are mourning and mourning the loss of Ekam. Modi-Naveen is one in all policy decisions. But it is not surprising that the Lingaraj area is not the same. The Lingaraj constituency is being sacrificed in the BJD-BJP clash. Many construction projects will be blocked if the by-law is implemented. The development work around the Lingaraj temple will also be stopped.

The future of any road construction, bhajan mandapa, plaza will go into the dark. Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel revoked the bill, calling the temple a living heritage. In the same way, these temples are a living heritage. This is not a monument. Therefore, the mass protests will begin if the Lingaraj temple, Brahmeshwar temple, Anantavasudev temple, etc. are not withdrawn immediately from the MNA letter. "The BJP's Union Minister will be strongly opposed on Odisha soil," he said.

The function was attended by Jatani MLA Suresh Kumar Rautaray, Provincial Youth Congress Vice President Rajeev Patnaik, Provincial Youth Congress spokesperson Ajay Kumar Sahu, Manoranjan Das, Biswajit Das, Manoj Mohapatra, Sankuna Kaher, Gopan Martha, Badal Mohanty, Bishwaranjan Das, Suraj Raut, Gautam Das, Babu Jena, Loknath Das, Pratyush Mohanty, Subrata Mohapatra, Samson Das, Abinash Nand, Manas Acharya, Lingaraj Sahu, Jayakrishna Subuddhi, Devi Prasad Bahalia, Manoj Sahu were the prominent participants.
