Bhubaneswar, AITUC and BKMU jointly staged a three-hour Chakajam agitation at Rajmahal Chowk today at the call of the All India Peasant Struggle Coordinating Committee. Farmers have been protesting for 73 days on the Delhi border demanding the cancellation of three art agriculture laws. Without repealing the agricultural law, the government has cracked down on farmers. While the government has inhumanely shut down water, food and internet services, the whole of Delhi has been cordoned off.
Hundreds of farmers and workers marched in a procession from the Bhagwati Bhavan to Rajmahal Square in protest of today's crackdown.
