Bhubaneswar,Mr. Sanjay Kumar Dasbarma, Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board, visited Nabarangpur district today. He reviewed the various developmental programs of the government being implemented with the officials of various departments of the district in the conference room of Nabarangpur district commissioner with various district level officials. Mr. Dasbarma, Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Board, reviewed the various developmental activities of the government being implemented in the district. In particular, he strongly directed all concerned departmental officials to ensure that all the paddy left by the eligible farmers in the various mandis of the district is procured immediately and picked up from the mandis within the next week.
Similarly, the Biju Bridge on the Indrabati River, which connects the Kodigaon and Chirma roads in the incomplete Kosagumuda block, and the Bhatra Shuni and Sirisi Road in the Nabarangpur block, connect the Biju Bridge under construction to the Turi River. He also directed the concerned executive engineers to complete the process of handing over 14 roads in the process of transferring them from the district's rural development department to the district completion department and start the construction work immediately. The project director directed the state relief commissioner to submit a written proposal to the state relief commissioner for the construction of a flood shelter at Ghatbasuli under Ukiapalli village panchayat under Kosagumuda block of Kosagumuda block in the flood-affected area of the district for the convenience of the people during the floods.

Senior district officials including Charan Sutar and Deputy District Magistrate Shri Bhaskar Royit were present.
