Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar District Congress Committee today staged a protest rally in front of the DCP office, strongly condemning the attack on PCC president Niranjan Patnaik and demanding the arrest of the culprits. At around 12 noon on the occasion, Bhubaneswar district Congress president Biswajit Das, led by Congress leaders and activists, strongly condemned the attack and demanded the immediate arrest of the attackers.
A memorandum to the Director General of Police was later handed over to the DCP. The function was attended by Shri Suresh Kumar Rautaray, Shivananda Roy, Manoranjan Das, Rashmi Mohapatra, Chinmay Sundar Das, Ashok Das, Janaki Patnaik, Yasir Nawaz, Rajkishore Barik, Shriya Mohanty, Jayakrishna Subuddhi, Mihir Acharya, Ashish Mallick, Bahu Balendra,. Anil Das, Manoj Sahu, Sriyasmita Panda, Kusum Pradhan, Akshay Das, Chaitali Patnaik, Prabhati Patnaik, Shankuna Kaher, Muni Thaga, Prabhat Barik were the prominent participants.
