Bhubaneswar, Pujyapuja Sanskriti Suraksha Abhiyan has organized a memorial service at the local statue to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the 213th birth anniversary of the martyred hero Surendra Sai of Sambalpur. Pradyumna Shatapathi, a senior journalist and chairman of the Pujyapuja Sanskriti Suraksha Abhiyan, said that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's patriotism and heroism were incomparable.

On the occasion, Padmanabh Das, a linguist and worshiper, was conferred the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Memorial Award and Surendra Sai Memorial Award on journalist Niranjan. The function was presided over by the senior member of the campaign, educated, linguist Sitaballav Mohapatra. Muralidhar, Rohit Kumar Nayak was the chief guest, spokesperson Arvind Tripathi said.
