Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the Modi government has set up a laboratory for the poor. There will be no shortage of funds for the development of the state. "It is the responsibility of BJP workers to implement all the welfare schemes of the Modi government at the grassroots level," said Union Minister for Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Prahlad Yoshi, who came to the party office during a courtesy call.
Upon arrival at the state office, Mr. Yoshi was given a warm welcome. On the occasion, Mr. Yoshi discussed the issue with the activists and heard the allegations. Officials complained that DMF funds and CSR funds from state-owned enterprises in the state could not be properly invested. Activists also demanded that the state control the export of substandard iron ore. Officials complained that state-owned companies such as MCL and NALCO in the state have hampered the development of various mines, including roads, drinking water and mineral water.
Under the leadership of Union Minister Shri Yoshi, the activists congratulated Mr. Yoshi on the record bookings of 41.6 million tonnes of coal in the five transparent e-auctions by December 21-21. Mr Yoshi said his ministry was "aware of the serious flaws and corruption in the management of the DMF, the Ombudsman and the Kakha Fund" and said it was "important" to mention the Prime Minister's Mineral Welfare Scheme in DMF projects.
