Bhubaneswar, The state government is set to reopen the school on August 7 due to a curfew. So only students in 10th and 12th grades will go to study. For the annual examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education and the Council for Higher Education, the 10th and 12th grade children are to be prepared for their participation in the all-India competitive examinations held at various times.

That is why the Department of Schools and Mass Education has decided not to open educational institutions. The Board of Secondary Education will be conducting examinations for Class X students from January 6 to April 26 and the Class XII students for examinations for the Council of Higher Education will be held from January 6 to April 24. The practical exams for the 10th grade children will be held from April 28 to May 2 and for the twelfth grade students from April 28 to May 16.

The Class X board exams will be held from May 3 to May 15 and the Class XII exams will be held from May 15 to June 11. According to the above schedule, each student will have 100 days of lessons, including Saturday and Sunday. A comprehensive guide has been issued for reading. According to the guidelines, government-aided and private educational institutions will be opened.

In addition, the guidelines issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare and the Special Relief Commissioner will be mandatory. Educational institutions in the state have been closed since last March due to the Covid epidemic. The Department of Schools and Mass Education has arranged online teaching for students through various means.
