The state Congress will besiege the Raj Bhavan on Friday, January 15

Bhubaneswar: As many as 62 crore farmers across the country are fighting for their livelihoods due to three arts and agriculture laws enacted by the central Modi government. Millions of farmers have been protesting for 50 days on the Delhi border demanding the withdrawal of the black water. Heavy rains, torrential rains and hailstones have killed at least 40 farmers. Despite its stubbornness, the central government is not listening to the plight of Indian food donors. Despite discussions with the departmental ministers four times in the meantime, the government has not taken a generous stance on the demands of the food donors.

At this juncture, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has decided to stand firm behind those donors, saying it is the moral duty of every Congress worker and citizen. On the one hand, major donor organizations have rejected a ruling by the Supreme Court yesterday, while food donors continue to fight for the repeal of the art law. The central government has repeatedly raised the price of petrol and diesel, and has now risen to an all-time high. Which is the first in the history of 73 years.

In the last four years, the Modi government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 4.20 per liter (May 2018) to Rs. It has reached 32.4 paise. That's 256 percent more. Similarly, the price of diesel has been increased from Rs 3.7 per liter (May 2018) to Rs. It has reached 31.83 paise. That's more than 420 percent. When crude oil prices fell to $ 50 a barrel from $ 110 a barrel, the Modi government recovered Rs 1.8 million crore from petrol and diesel due to the above price hike. Which has had a direct impact on farmers and the general public.

In this regard, the Congress party strongly supports the farmers in demanding the complete repeal of the three art agriculture laws suspended in the Supreme Court verdict and to raise the price of diesel and petrol to raise the price of diesel and petrol on Friday, May 15. The program is scheduled.

On the occasion, the PCC will hold a siege of the Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on Friday, January 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. On this occasion, a huge procession will leave the Power House Square towards the Raj Bhavan. The function was attended by all MLAs, MPs, former MLAs, former MPs, Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates, Congress workers, AICC and PCC members, Samukhya, chambers and heads of departments and committees, PCC observers and district presidents. PCC President Niranjan Patnaik appealed for the program to be successful.
