Assembly House Minutes Booklet Silently Launched by Speaker Suryanarayana Patra

Bhubaneswar, Assembly House Minutes Booklet Today It has been unveiled by Suryanarayana Patra. On the occasion, a silent ceremony was held in the chambers of the Legislative Assembly to abide by the KVII rules.

"The details of the House of Commons are an invaluable asset not only to the Assembly but also to the state," he said. He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this great task: "One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure ... there are going to be some difficult decisions for government".

At the behest of the Hon'ble Speaker, Mr. Debananda Dora directed the Joint Secretary to publish all the details of the Legislative Assembly, starting with the Fourth Session of the Sixteenth Legislative Assembly. Accordingly, the first two days of the fourth session of the current Legislative Assembly, dated 27/09/2010 and 30/09/20120, have been published in book form.

The booklet was co-authored by Prabhat Kumar Swain, Joint Secretary to the Legislative Assembly, Basant Kumar Raut, Reporter Niranjan Kar, Dillip Kumar Mohanty, Purnachandra Mohanty, Madhusudan Sahu, Bhawaniprasad Pattayoshi, Shuvendu Kumar Mishra. Savendra Kumar Mishra, Biswajita Behera, Sripada Swain, Rahul Vaidya, who works in the Neva Cell, provided technical assistance.

The booklet was inaugurated by Assembly Secretary Dashrathi Shatapathi, Bachchhapati's personal secretary Purnachandra Dalai, Public Relations Officer Bhujang Rao and other departmental staff.
