Peasant movement is gaining strength, Odisha farmers set out for Delhi

Bhubaneswar, About 500 farmers from Odisha started their journey to Delhi today in support of the ongoing peasant movement demanding the repeal of the Black Agriculture Act in Delhi. Farmers in Odisha have flocked to Delhi to respond.

The people of Odisha have not proved that the peasant movement in Delhi is a movement of one or two states. The central government will not be able to stop the fires of the peasant movement in the future. Today's event was attended by State Coordinator Nimai Roy, Rashmiranjan Swain, Umakant Bharat and Youth Coordinator Manwar Alli, among others.

The trip will reach Delhi via Calcutta, Ranchi and Uttar Pradesh. Farmers will take part in the tractor parade on January 26. Former Union Minister Brajkishore Tripathi waved the national flag.
