The meeting of the Library Committee of the Odisha Legislative Assembly was held today in Chamber No. 54 of the Assembly premises. The main topic of discussion was the modernization of the Legislative Library and how to find useful research aids. It was decided at the meeting that members of the Legislative Assembly would purchase books that would help them to discuss theoretically and intellectually in the Legislature.

It was also decided to consult the committee members and legislators in this regard. The meeting, chaired by MLA Pramod Kumar Mallick, was attended by Prafulla Kumar Samal, Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Dr. Narsingh Charan Sahu, Manohar Randhari were present at the keynote address while Assembly Secretary Dashrathi Shatapathi, Deputy Director of the Library were also present.
